Services
Chiropractic
Chiropractic care is an evidence-based, patient-centered and non-invasive approach to treating the spine, muscles, nervous system and extremity joints. Chiropractors are trained to evaluate, diagnose, recommend and deliver a treatment program that
re-establishes body mobility. Treatment methods include manual therapy, modalities, and exercise programs tailored
to the patient.
Massage
Massage therapy is a
patient-centered approach
to help alleviate tension, spasms and radiating pain associated with muscles, connective tissue, and tendons. It is also a great therapy to use to help cope
with stress and pain related to chronic conditions.
Orthotics
Orthotics are customized shoe inserts that help to support foot arches, alleviate heel pain and help to compensate for toe joint deformity. Orthotics are covered by most extended health care but need to be prescribed
and casted by specific practitioners (chiropractors, chiropodist, medical doctors, or podiatrist). Please check
your insurance plans.
Athletic Therapy
Certified Athletic Therapists rehabilitate injuries using the Sports Medicine Model of care, a method that focuses on the individual taking an active approach to rehabilitating their orthopedic injury. This treatment approach results in a faster recovery and a reduced chance of further injury. Treatment plans include manual and movement therapies, therapeutic modalities, and individualized exercise prescriptions. The treatment plan varies but the objective doesn't; Athletic Therapists' goal is to help clients return to their usual activities, whether participating in competitive sports or walking to the mailbox and back.
